The award-winning 28-page publication Looking for Oregon’s Future: What Is Sustainability? was featured recently at the World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg, South Africa. It uses 33 stories to explore issues and examine citizens' efforts linked to the future of the state of Oregon in the United States of America. The Oregon State University Extension Service's goal for the publication is to give individual citizens, schools, organizations and other groups a tool that will help them examine and discuss issues and efforts related to sustainability. Oregon citizens can order copies at no charge. There is a $3 per copy shipping and handling fee for out-of-state residents.
